Hi, what a pleasure to meet you!
I’m Letitia, your Certified Book Coach, Creative Writing Guide, and Developmental Editor---founder of Bayou Moon Editing, based in New Orleans. I hold an MFA from California Institute of Integral Studies and trained for three years with Author Accelerator, the publishing industry’s leading book coach certification program. I'm also a published freelance writer.
I've loved books for as long as I can remember and was an early reader always looking for the next good book. Stories fascinate me and I'm equally in awe of the creativity of writers who I meet!
I'm on a mission to serve writers like you who need that extra push to bring a passionate story to life. You don't have to do this alone.
I also care about writers because, like many book coaches, I'm a writer myself and understand firsthand how damaging it can be to your self-esteem and creativity when you’re inspired to tell your story and nothing seems to be working. I'm old-school when it comes to what I believe makes a good read. Though I enjoy multiple genres, regardless of what they are I'm always looking for the 'wow' factor---something that keeps me immersed in the writer's world of Story.
I believe writers thrive and prosper best in community. However, writing conferences aren’t for everybody! Some of us work better one-on-one or in smaller groups. When you have a book coach on your side, you get personalized and professional writing engagement focused on you.
